Have you seen everyone with PSP/Photoshop using the plugin called Sinedots II? There are actually 2 versions of this plugin, but I couldn't figure out the original one. But I did figure out how to use the 2nd version of it in our program!! First to get it, You will have to download it.
Please read my Plugins lesson to learn how to install them.
Download the program here... SINEDOTS II
I will include some great PSP page links that will help you use this plugin at the end of this lesson.
You will start with a new project

You will need to size it down. I made mine 400x400 pixel, you can make yours what ever you wish.
You do that by going to FORMAT/RESIZE CANVAS and typing in your sizes.
In our program, you can not apply a plugin, to your new project, because it is considered blank... nothing there! And if you were to go to EFFECTS/PLUGINS and click, it will tell you...NO! LOL!. So this is the part I made this lesson for. I figured it out ;-)! First you will go to INSERT/SHAPE. Any shape, I choose the square, because it is first!

Now you will want to grab the corner sizer ball and make your square tiny...as little as you can, in the upper left corner

Now problem is solved...LOL!, but one we go. Go to EFFECTS/PLUGINS and find SINEDOTS II

If you want to find the presets for this plugin, please read the following lesson for PSP, but it is the same in our program

SINEDOTS II BY MOON S DESIGNS.

I love hearts, so this preset was wonderful!

I changed the color to pink

Once you leave the plugin, you will remember our little added shape to get us into the plugin

You will want to get rid of it. Click on your shape selection tool

Select your square

Then go to EDIT/DELETE, click delete and your little shape will be gone and you are now able to use your sinedots creation how ever you like! You can go to EFFECTS/FILL COLOR/GRADIENT for this effect

And you get this!

When you get the hang of it you could make something like this

You can find many lessons for PSP and photoshop using this plugin. I put in sinedots into google and found many. The first site I mentioned, I thought was very helpful here are a few more.
