I did another lesson somewhat like this one, but I have figured an easier way to make these, so thought I would share! And what you can do with them is endless!!

This is what we are gonna make

Start with a new project

Resize the canvas

You can make it any size you need. I am making mine 300x300 pixel

Now insert a shape (circle)

stretch it to fit your space

And then take the outline off it.

Now you want to fill it with a gradient of 2 colors

Choose gradient

Choose the circle

Then click to choose your 2 color by clicking this

You will see the default

I am going to use blue. So I click the dark blue for the top selection

And I click the same color blue on the bottom, and choose the lightest version of that color

And your circle should now look like this!

That looks pretty good! BUT we need a glare for it to make it look "fancy" but an easy way! First click CTRL+d this will make a duplicate of your circle in the stack.

Fill the 2nd ball with white.

Now grab the bottom sizer ball and push it up, to squash the top white ball.

You will play with the "glare" to get it the right size and shape.

Now add gradual transparency

Choose the circle

And make sure you invert the effect by clicking

And finally you have this!!!

If you use the destort tool, you can get all kinds of shapes!

And with a little more playing around, you could make some of these!
