BUBBLES

This is what we are going to make

animated bubble

This can be done as animated or not, that is up to you and what you want to use a bubble for.
Start with a blank project, I made this one red, so you can see it.

blank project
You need to add a circle shape. Go to the top to INCERT/SHAPE and choose the circle.

add circle

You will see a black outline on your circle, you will need to get rid of this for this project.

delete outline

At the top, look for the line thickness button, click on it and then click MORE, here you need to click the top that says NONE and then OK.

delete circle outline NONE

Once your outline is gone, we are going to make the circle transparent. Go to the top menu to EFFECTS/TRANSPARENT/GRADUAL

make transparent

Choose the circle shape

gradual circle

Your circle should now look like this

circle transparent

You need to change the color of your bubble, so that you have some shading, go to the top and choose EFFECTS/FILL WITH COLOR OR TEXTURE

gradient color

Choose the gradient button

gradient button

Choose the shading for the light to be at the top and the dark at the bottom.

filter shading

Now click CUSTOM 2 COLOR GRADIENT. The top color selection should be the dark color, I choose black

dark color

and the 2nd choice should be your light color, I choose white.

light color

Your circle should now look like this

gradient bubble

If you want a rainbow effect for your bubble, you now duplicate your bubble. You can do this by going to EDIT/DUPICATE OBJECT

duplicate

Or you can select your bubble and click CTRL+d. Take your new bubble and fill with gradient rainbow color by going to the top and clicking EFFECTS/FILL WITH COLOR OR TEXTURE, choose the gradient color button and the dark or light graident rainbow.

rainbow gradients

To make your bubble look more shaded, you need to take your new rainbow bubble and make it very transparent, so the bottom bubble shows through. To do this go to the top, click EFFECTS/TRANSPARENT/EVEN move the lever over until you can barely see the rainbow on top of your shaded bubble. If you do your bubble on a white or light background, you can see the rainbow much better than the one on red.

You now need a background bubble for your bubble if you want to save it as a gif, you need this xtra bubble because other wise your bubble would be transparent in the middle when saved. To do this you need to INCERT/SHAPE/CIRCLE again. And again get rid of the outline of the new circle.

new circle

Once you do this, you select your new bubble, make it as large as your bubble.

background bubble

Now you need to go to your side bar, and grab the new big circle, then hold down your mouse button and drag it down to the bottom of your bubble.

drag down

To add a glare to your circle, again, add a new circle shape. Make it white, get rid of the outline and make it transparent with Even transparentcy. Make it small, and squash it and turn it side ways.

glare

Now you have a rainbow bubble. If you want to multiply your bubble, just click EDIT/DUPLICATE OBJECT click, then resize your new bubble.

duplicate bubble 4 bubbles

To animate your bubble. You make however many layers you want, of different sized bubbles, small getting bigger, save each one in gif format. Once you have them, now open them all, and go to TOOLS/ANAMATION/FLIPBOOK from the top menu. Follow through the flipbook frames. If you dont understand, please read my complete globe tut for 2001, this one works the same! If you dont want to learn but would like some bubble, here is a zip of my bubbles. They are in png format and made in Digital Image Pro.
