ANIMATION

There are 2 different animation options in PI. You can choose between

ANIMATE THIS PICTURE

and FLIPBOOK ANIMATION

You can animate anything you make into 3-D form, it will let you make it roll over, or twirl around


Here I have made 3 different animations using the twirl & roll options. The first is made with the normal 10 frames, the 2nd is make with 70 frames and the 3rd is the rolling optionl. The first 2 look alot alike, you should have noticed that it took forever for the 2nd to load and animate correctly, but it flows well, while number 1 is more jerky.

These options you don't get if you just have a flat graphic you want to animate.

A flat graphic can be animated to dissolve or bounce or go from side to side, like bouncing and to go across the page like a marquee.




For the newer versions of Picture It! & Digital Image Pro, animation works the same, as in this lesson. To find the animation area of your program please read below:

Picture It! 2001

Open your program. Open your animation frames and go to the file labled PICK A DESIGN then click PHOTO and finally click ANIMATIONS. From here you will choose from FLIP BOOK or WEB ANIMATION.


Picture It! 2002

Open your program. Open your animation frames and go to PICK A DESIGN. Then click ANIMATIONS and choose from either FLIP BOOK or WEB ANIMATION.


Digital Image Pro

Open your program. Open your animation frames and on the top tool bar you will click TOOLS and then choose from FLIP BOOK or WEB ANIMATION.
